AES Contracting is a professional company with a ‘can do’ attitude. With modern machinery capable of handling large projects and workloads, we deliver efficient, quality solutions for all requirements.
The owner of our company, Mr Sean Graham, grew up on the family farm in rural Kent. From a young age, Sean started working with and around tools which are now part of his trade, gaining unrivalled knowledge in different aspects of land management. This allowed him to start his own company in 2010, now known as AES Contracting and offering site clearance, equine groundworks, sand school construction and much more. With 30 years of combined experience, our groundwork and agricultural contractors are known locally for a high standard of work and client-focused approach. We are accredited by CHAS (Contractor Health and Safety Assessment Scheme). CHAS is the UK's leading accreditation scheme for contractors, being an authority and trusted advisor on health and safety compliance.
As part of our CHAS membership, we demonstrate compliance and meet related industry requirements regarding health and safety and risk management. Our Crowborough team is committed to maintaining health and safety on every job, whether undertaking site clearance, pond
desilting, sand school construction, equine groundworks or any other work.
Training and Certifications
The land management experts at AES Contracting hold respected LANTRA (National Training Organisation for the Land-Based Industries) qualifications. LANTRA is a leading award body for land-based industries in the UK and the Republic of Ireland, delivering a range of quality training
courses and nationally recognised qualifications.
Our groundwork and agricultural contractors undergo relevant training to complete their work to the highest standard and with maximum safety. This includes health, safety and environment training as well as first aid training.
They are also suitably trained in the use of machinery, such as 360-degree excavators, dumpers and flails which we use for services such as equine groundworks, bulk excavation and site clearance. Our staff in Crowborough and the South East hold CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme)
cards and CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cards.
Insurance
AES Contracting operates with public liability insurance and employer's liability insurance as well as below-surface digging insurance up to 5 metres. This gives our clients total peace of mind because, in the unlikely event something goes wrong, all parties are covered and can expect the matter to
be handled professionally, with suitable compensation provided.
Public liability insurance covers things like accidental injury to clients and third persons, and damage caused by business activities.
